candidates..

Memo(32 yrs. old) - what we've seen overseas has reminded us of memo of old. but it's yet to be seen if he can get past the injury bug that plagued him last year.

Raja Bell(35 yrs. old) - I think we can all agree Raja played way too much last year. Could a lesser role benefit him or is he only going to continue to decline.

Josh Howard(31 yrs. old) - A lot of people have written the guy off and he's got a lot to prove on this team. but can he revive his career here? or will injuries/poor play doom his jazz career?

Jamaal Tinsley(33 yrs. old) - if he does make the team as the 3rd PG will he be a upgrade to ronnie price? or could he been even better than that.
 
I'm going with Howard, mostly because I think he has the most natural talent of the four and his attitude seems good now. But his injruies may be too much for him to overcome.
 
Gonna go with Howard too. Even if Memo comes back strong, which I suspect he will, it won't be a "surprise". Everyone expects great things of him. Nobody expects anything of Howard, or they expect him to be a problem, it seems.
 
Depends on what you think surprising for Memo is.... Is 12 points a game surprising or are we needing hi
To be back on form from 3 years ago? It's close between him and Howard for me. I voted Memo.
 
Memo for sure. Bell might be better. Or he'll shoot better, which will make people think he's better. But Bell can't pass, drive, or adequately defend. He's an offense killer like I've never seen. Memo, on the other hand, will legitimately make a difference so long as he can run up and down the court. That remains to be seen.
 
I'd love to see Memo improve. He was truly atrocious last year, but maybe he just needed to be fully healed.
 
I voted for Howard - mostly by default. Bell was worthless 4 years ago and has gotten progressively worse since. Tinsley has A LOT to prove after looking like he was cooked in his brief stint with Memphis. I just don't trust Memo will stay healthy given the severity of all the injuries he's had the last couple years. I know all these guys say they feel great now, but with his back and achilles there's no way he'll be able to play more then 15 games in a row at any point the rest of his career.

Howard has a chance to be a real nice contributor to this team.
 
I voted Bell. I thought he was really out of sorts but not tired or hurt. Seemed like a psychological thing to me. JMO, he's always been up and down season to season with his shooting too stat wise. Could actually produce if he worked on his shot and has his head out of his ***.
