OU ripped Texas.

LSU ripped the Gators.

Bama will probably rip Vandy.

Boise is looking pretty good too.

Wisconsin is owning the Big 10.

Who's strongest? Power rankings anyone?

Everything I have seen from LSU makes me think they are number 1.

1. LSU
2. Bama
3. OU
4. Wisconsin
5. OKST
6. Boise State

Whether you think it is their fault or not, Boise State just hasn't played enough good competition. Some of that is because good teams definitely fear them. I just can't give them as much credit for playing one tough road game all year long. Bama and LSU play each other later and I think the winner of that game will play in the National Championship along with the winner of the Oklahoma and OKST game.

3. Oklahoma
4. Wisconsin
5. Boise State

My gut tells me it's a going to be a Wisconsin/SEC team championship game with Wisconsin somehow winning. Martin and company seem to have this feel to them that I can't describe and he seems to have that undeniable leadership you look for in a qb. Seems crazy as LSU and Alabama book look unfreaking real but it's what my instincts have been telling me for the last three weeks or so.

1a . BYU
1b. USC
1c. Oklahoma
4. Wisconsin
5. LSU
6. Boise State
7. Bama

Thanks for the chuckle.

I think the discussion also needs to include Stanford. Best QB in the nation and they've crushed everyone to date. Wouldn;t surprise me to see Stanford go undefeated. Obviously, both LSU and 'Bama can't finish without any losses. But Stanford, BSU, Wisconsin and Oklahoma (or Oklahoma State) and LSU or 'Bama could all potentially go undefeated. In fact, I hope there are 4 or even 5 teams that finish without a loss. We're talking major power universities (well, except for BSU) and it could finally signal the end to the BCS and push along conference comsolidation. College football needs 4 super conferences. Do that and you can easily use the bowl system to determine a national champion.

I would put LSU Bama at 1 and 2, but they will eventually beat one another and it probably wont be able to happen.

I don't know, Stanford is coming up on the meat of their schedule, should be interesting to see what happens with them.
