Who's rights would you draft?

It's a little confusing, but basically back in the 70's NBA teams were allowed to draft the rights to a player even if that player was not going to enter the league that same year (see Bird, Larry & Auerbach, Red). So my question is, if the same rules existed today what would you want to do with the #6 pick (if that's what we end up with)? Would you pick somebody in this draft to try and help for the, God allowing, 2011-2012 season (Biyombo, Kanter, Valunciunasdlfjk, Knight, Walker, Vesely, etc.)? Or would you draft the rights to someone that would not be eligible until the 2012-2013 season or perhaps the 2013-2014 season (Barnes, P. Jones, Sullinger, Anthony Davis, A. Rivers, Bradley Beal, Quincy Miller, etc.) and get no value for the upcoming season?

Is this fantasy fantasy basketball? You know, because of the hypothetical of a theoretical nature of it all.

We could call it the fantasy hanukristirthday wishlist basketball league. Cool?

Considering probably half of the threads on this site revolve around "hypotheticals" I just thought this would make for an interesting discussion.
