His name came up as a potential replacement for Boogie. This is from Hoopshype: "Willie Reed — The 29-year-old, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 G League Draft, recently played summer league for the Utah Jazz. He is still looking for a training-camp deal. Reed played on Cousins’ team “Loyalty is Love” in The Basketball Tournament. The Lakers showed some interest in Reed earlier this offseason, according to a person with knowledge of the situation."
