If for some reason we had to shut down Favors for the rest of the year. Are there other options though if that happened?
Yep. He may have had some issues (hopefully addressed) but he was a solid player. According to Basketball Insiders these teams are interested:

Seems like a pretty good dude, but he shouldn't have the option of coming back as a FA. The league should require him to take up where he left off with his last contract, despite the buy out.
