What's new

Monday Spurs VS Jazz 7 PM ET ---- Front row seat!

I'll end by saying I love our identity as a defensive team, loved what Dante and Trey did, and can't wait to see the next game. Goodnight guys!

So I come here after the game hoping to see what I saw live reflected in what's written here... Well, I didn't see any race brawl going down at the arena so what's all this ****...

Jazzfanz can take unexpected turns at any moment!

also I'm jealous you got to be at that game! I have to imagine being behind the bench of an opposing team has to be a blast.

Paging Dal
You need to go bump this post on spurstalk

Kanter and Hayward are good and have potential, the others not so much and as a team it pretty much sucks, no real first option/top 15 player, sucky shooting... And Gobert is gonna be a bust who can be posted by any nba point guard.

Losing to the Jazz twice this season (possibly) is ****ing embarrassing.
Parker regressed so much as a point guard that he's resorted to using Derek Fisher moves
Dias, stop passing the ball to Manu
lol giving Kawhi max money for playing like this
manu can't throw it in the Salt Lake tbh....
Every loss is a higher draft pick.Every loss is a higher draft pick. Every loss is a higher draft pick.Every loss is a higher draft pick.Every loss is a higher draft pick.Every loss is a higher draft pick.
didn't realize how much they hate on Parker

OK, you got me. It is a platitude, but at times it's really close, and that's why I added the rest. But if you sit on your ***, while a minority is being discriminated against, then you are allowing it to happen by not doing anything, period.

You want to play shrink with me next? Will it make you feel better?

There is a line between calling someone out and going on a self righteous tirade.

Ignore the sideshow post up man!

I already knew you weren't a redneck, but your childhood is indicative of someone who would let racist remarks slide, because you're not invested at all either way. In theory, you might think racism is bad, but you're not in any hurry to do much. It's a common feeling by slightly educated middle class white Americans, who have grown up in a relatively safe and secure home structure. Also, the potential life-changing experiences that your brothers had probably didn't do much to change you. I assume you were the rebel of the family, who had experiences that allowed you to be more loosey-goosey. I'm just trying to understand how people can be so oblivious to being fine with forms of racism. I was just hoping that higher education would open up the problems with racism. That's why I was interested in your education.

Yeah, sometimes I think the whole "thought police" thing has the opposite of the intended effect as people tune crap out at that point. Some of the crap might be valid, but the people shoveling it can get so damn tedious that they might even invite a little backlash.

Well, he liked the post, so he apparently didn't tune-out. Also, I was explaining why I was interested in his education level, since he asked.

I am not Mexican or Latin American, so I don't need an apology. But I'll take your explanation for what it is and agree to move on.

I didn't say you were mexican or latin american. Clearly you were upset by what was obviously clumsy and insensitive phrasing .. let me clarify for the last time. The two words were not intended to to be linked, there was no inference that mexicans are feral. I would just as easily say a "feral redneck" from someone texas, or a "feral hippie" for someone from seattle. To be clear the "feral" referred to the language and comments made by quite a few posters on the san antonio board which as a whole i found to be quite homophobic and backward, NOT the fact that i thought they were from mexico. A very unfortunate combination of words, but that is all, again my apologies. If you or Mr Ivory tower asking about people's education think that is glibly justifying and not a genuine apology and are going to oh so kindly "take your explaination for what it is" you really should come down off your moral high horse.

I would also love to play shrink with you. Let me know when you want to play.

How was the Spurs bench? Any anecdote? You did choose a great game to attend

Thanks for asking. Pops was one scary character during timeouts tonight, I think age is starting to kick in and he's becoming more of a caricature of his angry self. At least from what I saw tonight... a few ugly words thrown out and he really really was on Green's case during the entire game, to the point that it was comical, even the guy next to me was cracking up about it. Who knows what the deal is there...

Duncan clearly frustrated after being 'Gobliterated' in the 1st quarter, people were going crazy. Let's see what else... oh yeah that female assistant of theirs is kind of hot.
