That's Curt's blog about it, but it's making plenty of headlines today.


I love it. I support him 100%. I'm glad those clowns lost their jobs and got kicked out of school.


This site has a few of its own. You know who you are. You are the Dbags who resort to personal attacks when you think someone is dumb. If you went after Hotttnickkk(One Love) before, then you are one of them. Hotttnickkk is a good dude who is passionate about basketball and just wants to talk about it. Props to him for not caving. It's appalling to watch what goes on here sometimes. I think you people should be banned. It's not just him though. Plenty of people on Jazzfanz have gotten their share of the true trolls around here.

Before you try to label me as one of them, I'm not, I just fight fire with fire. Treat me with respect, I'll do the same for you. Don't get it twisted.


That is all. Just don't like it. I think it's ugly. It's sad that Jason and the mods do nothing about either. I like the discussion that has been had on the radio today about it. It's a real problem in this country. Kids are committing suicide over it sometimes. It's very sad.

Nah dude, threatining to rape someone's daughter is basically the same thing as calling someone's opinions about basketball stupid.
 
To go back to the link though, people are disgusting on social media. Like who the **** says that kind of stuff on twitter? How do those people have friends or mothers?

Cmon. Quit down playing it. There is a difference between just calling someone dumb and constantly berating someone. I've heard, on many occasions, people telling other people to go kill themselves on here. You can't tell me that hasn't happened. There is plenty of times where people have crossed the line, and not one person here calls it out.

Some people can call someone dumb in kidding matter, others are downright ****ed up in their approach, and mean it.

When you and I go at it, I know it's just messing around. Or with others, the same thing. But some people have no regard for others. It's like people get behind a computer, and all decency goes out the window. People think they can say whatever they want, and it has no effect on others. Well, it's very possible that it does. We knows this by the suicides we see in the news all the time after someone was bullied on Facebook and what not.

Ya, people should have thicker skin, but that always doesn't happen. It's better to just not take that chance imo. That's all I'm saying.

It's a lot more than just NAOS. It's a lot of people around here.


Why is it that it's ok to attack someone's opinions and intelligence with out any regard for feelings, but when it comes to race, we all better toe the line an not say anything that might hurt someone.

Kind of a double standard don't you think?


Would it help to pint out that hotttnickkk is of Asian decent? Would that stop the oppression?
 
I've felt like I've been bullied by Trout/EJ and NAOS at different times.

Again, they've never done anything as disgusting as what was done to Schilling's daughter. But, they have also crossed the line and doesn't mean what they have done is ok.
 
Report the posts if they're offensive. That way it comes to the attention of all the mods. Never been a mod, but I have a feeling it's darn near impossible for all of them to read every post. And even at that they may not be able to guess if a specific one has crossed the line - in someone's opinion - of being offensive to that person.

As for Schilling, I APPLAUD him. I'm a father to a very sensitive girl, one who struggles with her self-esteem. One of my greatest fears is that she falls victim to bullying, whether that be in person or on the net. I can't shield her for much longer, but believe me, I would react the same way as Curt if I could identify specific bullies. Probably worse...I'd be knocking on their doors giving the evidence to their parents, taking those tweets or messages to the school authorities.
 
This site has it's good 'ol boys club. It is what it is. I don't like groupthink and I don't like bullies... and I especially don't like bullies at the head of the groupthink power circle. When some people are having fun deciding who's in and who's out, and having a horde who aren't thinking for themselves doing their bidding, it turns my stomach.

But to call stupidity what it is? Maybe there's a gray area there, but I know I don't hesitate to say what I think. I know I can be harsh when something rubs me the wrong way. I also know I'm speaking for no one but myself and I never encourage a pile on.

We are insulting people Jazzfanz personas, not their actual personas. When anyone post anything personal on here, people are usually of utmost respect.

I have a Jazzfanz persona???? I bet it is like a mini-me- but more fanatical about the Jazz.
 
As a father of a beautiful 5 y.o. girl I would murder the **** out of any ******* that said anything remotely derogatory about her. Hopefully these **** tards get fired, get their faces beaten in, and have their parents disown them. So glad Schilling is doing everything he can to ruin their lives.
