What's new

What is the worst call you made concerning the Utah Jazz?

I was somewhat disappointed when we traded Thurl Bailey for Tyrone Corbin. Not even sure what to think about that. I thought John Crotty's second stint would suck (he was actually pretty good).

I was disappointed we didn't get Seikaly. Still am. I think one of the draft picks we would have traded, however, was one that became Kirilenko. I could be wrong.

I was excited about Kirk Snyder and Kris Humphries, hoping we got a steal in the 2004 draft.
Me too
Bought Humphries jersey after summer league lol.
Gave it away as a gag gift a while ago

I booed Hayward when he got drafted
I thought CJ Miles was going to develop into a star

These, though I didn't boo the Hayward pick I was not happy about it

I think Borchardt was worth getting excited about. Jazz got a projected lottery pick talent at #19 - unfortunately he couldn't get over his injuries. It was a decent gamble (look at the guy they swapped him for), just didn't work out.
This.

Yeah I didn't think $5m per year or whatever it was we had to match was too much.

Having said that KOC did a great job of selling Raja Bell to us though and I think most of us bought it.
Problem is Mathews would have cost twice that for us. I thought the contract for Wes was too much, But had no interest in Raja either.

Isn't that because he mainly plays in games that we have already won?
I would think he would play in games that we lose by a wide margin

I honestly thought that Kanter would be our #1 guy.
I also thought Trey was gonna be our PG of the future and be a near all star PG

I thought Eric Maynor was going to be good, and I got wicked pissed that we lost him cuz of Harp's awful contract.
Yup
And I think alot of us thought that too

I thought it was like 9 million but I don't remember
