What's new

Detroit Pistons @ Utah Jazz, 8pm Central Time

I noticed too at the game that when Rudy did stuff the crowd would chant "Rudy" (or at least I think thats what they did), but it sounded like booing.

Can we all take a second to laugh at Reggie Jackson?

Dude cost himself so much money by demanding a trade. He is sucking the D in Detroit and everyone knows he is a whiny teammate. Who is going to want to sign him in the off-season? Does anyone really want him to start? Does anyone want him on the bench when he will just cry about it? I mean, I'm sure someone will sign him, but he definitely lost money with his attitude and performance.

I don't know who is dumber:

OKC for offering Reggie Jackson 12 mil per year
or
Reggie Jackson for turning it down.

I think it'd be more frustrating to be in the NBA and not be the first person people think of when they hear your name.

With the way Jackson has been acting up and playing, I wonder if the critics of the Kanter trade who wanted Jackson still think that Kanter for Jackson was better trade than what we actually got.

It's good to see Exum playing at all. He's a baby in terms of NBA experience and readiness, and yet he's getting better as the season winds down. Realistically he should be barely on the court, plus he hit the rookie wall like a truck. . . and yet somehow he's not only playing through it, he's getting better with each game. Future is bright with this team!

To me this is an indictment of the theory that rookies should get their experience in the d-league. There are probably cases where the rookie should go to the d-league (as in a contending team that really has not spot for the rookie yet), but for the most part I believer that game time and true coaching from a real NBA team and coach will almost always be better for their development.
