Cooley

I wonder if underneath the current is that Little Sap, Cooley and Cotton are good eggs with not the most talent but are good for chemistry whereas other DLeaguers like Williams, Johnson, and Benimon were not such good eggs. I think Willaims and Johnson might have had more talent but are not on rosters right now.

Probably. Seems to be the case with Cotton anyway:

"Cotton is the third point guard on the Jazz roster, behind Dante Exum and Trey Burke. Still, he's carved out a niche as a good practice player. His demeanor in the locker room has also earned the respect of his teammates.

"Bryce has helped us on and off the court," Utah forward Trevor Booker said. "He, quiet, and he's just come in here and worked hard."

Elijah Millsap, Cotton, Johnson and Cooley...are we sure there were not better players in D-League? I mean with more uspide.

Upside doesn't amount to ****. Elijah (for sure) and Cooley (to an extent) have already proven productive when given the minutes. I for one would love to see both as our 12th/13th guys next season assuming Burks and Hood are both healthy and we add another couple pieces via the draft/free agency. Ingles I can't imagine will be around. It will be him or Elijah and Elijah is already a good defensive player with a high ceiling on offense. Ingles is really limited on both ends of the court, albeit a great teammate from the outside looking in.

I hope Cooley sticks. He's a proven rebounder and you can't have too many of those.

Both Elijah and Ingles had solid performances but frankly speaking Cooley has proven nothing.

I liked Elliot Williams prior to us signing him and during. Despite the fact he didn't get a lot of playing time during games he often played well for the Jazz (I remember him having one bad shooting game). He's been decent for New Orleans - if he works hard and improves he can probably get into a rotation. I'm assuming he didn't have the right attitude for the Jazz and that's why he was waived.
