Hello guys,

So even though we act like professional users nowadays, there was a time not too long ago that internet was a new thing for us. Anyone having hard time to recall the sound of those 56 K modems dialing up? Yeah it's not another life.

So just for the sake of conversation in a nostalgic taste, what was the 1st internet site you have visited, clicked that enter after typing?

Mine was Beşiktaş's web page. I was a lot hooligan-ner fan back in the day than I am now. Goin' into fights'n all. So that was the 1st. We had internet café's in here since internet and personal gear was a bit expensive and luxury to own back then. I sat on the computer. I knew how to use it from earlier experiences including my father's work and education, then I asked myself what site I should visit. And then I logged in to Beşiktaş's page. It's the sports club that Deron Williams played in with success like scoring 50 in one game during the latest lockout.

One of those crappy Geocities pages. School related. We had to look up example color palette wheels or something for a desktop publishing class.

Mine were back in the dial up days when you'd use your modem hooked up to your phone line and dial a phone number to get to the site you wanted.

I think it was a place called The Privy Ledge and I'd also go to the SLTrib website when it was dial up.

Technically, it was the hamster dance. Someone showed it to me once.

But on my own PC, it was Yahoo. Their games section was ahead of the curve. That and kjzz.com
