Following 2016 potential draftees

Sorry to intrude but this is somewhat of interest to me. Actually Ben's wingspan is 6'11" and 3/4. Skal's WS is half an inch longer at 7 feet tall yet everyone is super excited about his defensive ability. For what it's worth, Ben was pretty exceptional on last day of training while Skal struggled to make a shot. I like Skal too and happen to think a lot of people are underselling this class

Anyone know why Ben Simmons is going to LSU? Seems like a weird choice, no?

Also what position is he gonna play in the NBA? I think a playmaking SF right?

There can be no good reason he is going to LSU. ****tiest coach on the planet.
I see him as a SF. His handles and passing will be very good.

I think SF, he handles and distributes the ball at a very high level.

Simmons is the godson of LSU's assistant coach, who is Australian and knows a lot of the new emerging talent coming out from down under. That was the reason Exum was rumored to be interested in attending LSU as well, as far as I know.

Here's an article about it:

Dr. Jones, do you think he has enough offensive playmaking in the half-court to be successful in the NBA? I am a bit worried that he doesn't really have any semblance of a reliable jump shot. I was very high on him earlier, but the more I've watched him the more it looks like almost everything he does is on a break, and in the paint and he really lacks the perimeter game...

Skal looked really good in the Hoop Summit game. Why is that Kennard kid going to Duke and not Kentucky? They told a story about how he slept in Kentucky bed sheets growing up or something.....and he looks lights out from the outside, which Kentucky could use.
