Locke was saying that he Jazz probably would have kept motum if Evans contract was not guaranteed. He said it was pretty much between Evans and motum for the fifth big spot.

Huh? Motun is 6'10" with a very good outside shot. Sounds like a perfect 5th big to bring in - unless they draft a PF.

Maybe. Not saying the Australian league is anywhere near Euroleague; it isn't. But Motum was voted the best at his position in Australia. Worth bringing to camp. He has a conditional contract next season with Adelaide. I imagine there's probably little to zero buy-out. Replace Jerrett with Motum? Yes, I'd do that.

Ingles and Motum have about the same wingspan, and Ingles has a better standing reach by about 3". Motum is more likely 6'9 than 6'10.

Motum is ok, nothing special. I don't see how he's better than Jerrett actually.

Australian league is trash. Scottie Wilbekin was a meh college player for Florida a few years ago.
 
Motum has a midget standing reach for a PF, it's even underwhelming for a SF at 8'6.5.

He has shown 1 good year of shooting in the Australian League.
