Who would you go all in on?

So, you are going to ignore years of basketball to focus on a month where Durrant and Ibaka were gone, and he was left with subpar players around him?

Westbrook wants to win. Who was he supposed to pass it to? Kanter? Lol. Waiters? Lol. Come on now.

Could you imagine his defense and will to win paired with Gobert? You thought our defense was good last year...

That being said, I don't know if Burke gets it done. You'd probably have to do Favors and Exum. Could you imagine that team?

That's a great core that actually compliments Durrant. But, I'd really hesitate on giving up on Exum if I'm Utah. Is even do Favors, our pick, Burke and give OKC their pick back. I'd even think about tossing in Burks. Like I said, this team would dominate next year:

Westbrook/Exum
Hood
Hayward
Millsap
Gobert

We win 60 games with a better defense than we had this year.

Ehh, I don't think I'd do it. Re-signing Millsap isn't a lock and I'm not really that big a fan of Westbrook's defense anyways. And I agree it'd have to be Exum/Favors/Our pick to even get the conversation started, I could see us needing more.

That being said, don't you think that lineup would win 60 games? We would dominate. GS-level (lol). BTW, GS is vastly underrated. They might be a top 5 team of all time. We are watching greatness and I don't feel we are appreciating it.
 
I've been told by a "source" haha that the Jazz already have a deal in place. It is something around David Lee.
My guess is it's something like Lee and a future 1st for one of the non-guaranteed guys.
I wish it was Tomic and the 12 for sign and traded Draymond Green.

Dude was a ball hog but he racked up some serious assist totals in that stretch too....

Honestly, i'd really be open to trading for David Lee if they throw in a future 1st! He's been an All Star, decent shooter, great passer. I think its a win win.

He is a terrible defender and would eat up all our cap space. I also know a bunch of folks that were higher ups at the former management group that took care if oracle. They said he is a world class *******... And I've never heard them talk bad about any other players including Monta who had some issues there. He got one if the trainers fired for his infection issue he had a couple seasons ago so that may have played into my buddy's opinion.

I would want more than a 2019 pick for lee.
 
I don't see why we'd be trading for Lee unless something was coming back. If we were trading for Lee AND Barnes, that would be more believable. But just for Lee and a pick?

Makes no sense.

I could see a Lee and Barnes for Booker, Burke and a bunch of DL guys. Upgrades GS at backup PG, and gives them a max deal cap space.

Haven't read the thread past about halfway through first page, but comparing Deron to Wall is silly.. Deron was never as fan-marketable as Wall is.. a least not on a national level.
