ESPN's perfect offseason for the Jazz

Ideal offseason

Utah uses its cap space to lure restricted free agent Patrick Beverley away from the Houston Rockets, dealing away Burke to create room in the point guard rotation. Beverley gives the Jazz another quality defender and a decent outside shooter without committing so much to point guard as to block Exum from taking the next step in his development. Utah also adds a healthy Burks to the group that surged after the All-Star break and ends up winning 50 games and securing the seventh seed in the West.

I would like that a lot

I like Beverly. I'd take him over Burke all day every day. But at what cost? If he's restricted it might cost too much.

Meh he'll be too expensive and we'll have to lock him up long term. If we want to win next year I'd rather trade for an overpaid pretty good PG for a year or two to fill the cap space. By then hopefully Exum will be ready.

Gobert/Tomic
Favors/Booker
Hayward/Hood
Burks/Ingles/Millsap
Exum/Beverley/Cotton

2015 draft pick mixed in is 13 players.

Exum is the **** because he from down under? What happens when Exum shows to be a bust? Just another Trash foreign player

I would like that a lot

I mean Beverly is a lot better defensively than Burke for sure, but they are also extremely similar offensively (Beverly might actually be worse) but Beverly doesn't really have a lot of room for improvement.

Utah should seriously look at Cory Joseph. He will be 1/10 of the price of Beverly and very solid. Did a great job backing up tony Parker.

except Beverly is 38% 3 pt shooter

I believe Joseph is a top priority it re-sign for Spurs. you will have to over pay for both.
