I think it should be revamped to consider performance as determined by managers, fellow teachers and the school board (reps of the public). It should be much easier to fire bad teachers. Over all teacher pay should be dramatically increased as should the requirements and education to become a teacher in the first place.

Good lord, you sissies. The whole point of tenure was a sub-point of a sub-point to the preceding discussion. I didn't want to launch into a full-scale rundown of tenure issues until I understood why it was suddenly so important.

The hell you getting on me for? I'm not trying to do anything except ask the dude a question because he's actually been involved in that field and I haven't.

False. You asked me my thoughts on the subject. My interest was I thought you would have a good perspective on the subject and I was curious as to what you thought of it since you brought it up.

You can read what I wrote. It's sitting right there on the first page. Changes to tenure are a variable in the discussion of science and the context in which it is enacted.

It seemed like you wanted to make a different issue out of tenure. Did you want me to clarify my earlier thoughts? Did you want me to expound upon the subject more broadly? Why? If I ask you to share your thoughts first, I could be looking for a clue.
