I get why they would take WCS, but they better be planning on getting rid of Jefferson or not signing him. This team really needs to just hit the reset button and tank properly.

They have Jefferson and their recent draft picks have been Biyombo, Zeller, and Vonleh. Wtf would they take WCS? Especially when their wing play is a total mess.

It'll be Booker or Oubre.

They take WCS if they are smart... He's like two draft tiers ahead of Booker. They could swap with phx, OKC, Indiana, and pick up assets and still get the guy they want.

WCS is the age of your typical senior though. He is probably rated differently among different teams. He has 0 offensive game and just wouldn't be a good fit next to Al, if they like Al long-term.

I have no idea how they feel about Al long-term. If they like him long-term, no way they take WCS. If they don't, I could see them taking him and it being a smart pick.

THEIR WING ROTATION IS AWFUL THOUGH.

I think they are done with Jefferson and WCS is a great option if available. From what I am hearing they are trying to trade him(or at least their fans want him to be traded). I think Vonleh, Zeller, WCS is a great rotation and allows you to do different things with the spacing that Vonleh provides, the overall offensive skill and passing game of Zeller and the defense of WCS. I agree with you, if I were Charlotte I'd tank hard next year and try to get one of the elite wings coming next year, that team can use a Jaylen Brown or Ben Simmons, or even Malik Newman.

Except that neither Zeller or Vonleh has shown to be starters, or even good backups yet and WCS is really bad on offense.

That's why you tank - let the inexperienced and unproven young players(Zeller and Vonleh) show what they can do, and in the process lose a lot of games. That way they will see what those two can do with more playing time and will have better idea where they stand with them in addition with most likely getting a high pick for their trouble.

This would probably be a good spot for them to auction the pick. Think WCS could have quite a bit of value, but don't think Charlotte needs him.

The crazy thing is that if they pass on WCS, the Heat, Pacers and Jazz who are up next are teams that really don't have a huge need for him as they all have all world defending big men with offensive questions already. If he falls this far, one of these four teams are going to pick him for somebody else in a trade down.

Booker. They need shooting. Not really a fan of most of the guys still on the board. Really hoping the Jazz trade up into the top 8.

Pacers take him and get rid of Hibbert.

A lot of people on this board thought Vonleh was a good pick.

A lot of people thought Exum was a good pick. Vonleh and Exum were picked based on potential, not immediate return. Vonleh actually shot pretty well from 3PT range and had a decent amount of rebounds for the minutes he got. Just like Dante, I think you have to give Noah another couple of seasons to see what type of player he'll be.
