Going Cameron Payne.

Predicting he rises for some weird reason now that it is rumored OKC has promised him the 14th pick.

When I saw the options, I thought Payne makes a ton of sense, then I remembered they are waiting on Dragic to resign with them. It would depend on whether or not they think they can keep Dragic. If they think they can, I think they draft Oubre. That's a glaring position of need for them with the possibility of losing Deng either this year or next year.

I vote Oubre, but Payne won't be a total shock for me.

Totally forgot about Dragic lol. Would be ironic if they drafted a PG to play dual PG with Dragic after Dragic cried about playing dual-PG in Phoenix.

I wanna say WCS bc Riley loves defensive players, but they need a wing so badly

They'll probly trade though, they're in win now mode.

The heat are old and about to roll over most of their roster. Heat have 8 players under contract for next season but only 2 in 2016-17 (Bosh (30yr) & Mcroberts(27yrs))

Three players have player options: It sounds like 33 yr old Wade is opting out, Goran Dragic (28yrs) wants a max contract and Luol Deng (29yrs) might opt out.

Heat think they captured lighting in a bottle with Hassan Whiteside, but he is FA, (according to hoopshype, I thought I read he had one more season at 800k) Hassan is 26 years old now, but still immature and prone to erratic behavior.

I think the heat take WCS, because he is BPA and fills a need.
At Center the Heat have Hassan Whiteside and Chris Anderson

At pf Bosh, McRoberts, Haslem and Beesley.

At sf Deng, James Ennis

at sg Wade Tyler Johnson & Zoran Dragic

at pg Goran Dragic, Mario Chalmers and Shabazz Napier

Whether Wade stays or goes the Heat need help at sg. Wade is 33, and hasn't played in more than 70 games since the 2010-2011 season. He is only averaging about 58 games per season.

Hassan Whiteside came on strong for them last season. He is 26 years old, but he is immature and prone to erratic behaviour. Hoopshype says he is a FA, but I thought i read a Miami story saying he had one more year at a minimum contract.

I think heat take WCS, because he is the BPA and fills a need.

He is well positioned to rise. The nba is crazy about 3pt shooting, play making and length. Payne has all three. In addition, after Russell and Mudiay there are not alot of pg/playmaker options, so teams looking for it might have to reach.

Jazz are supposed to like him too, but I'm not sure how he fits with Dante and Alec (assuming that if jazz draft 3rd pg in 3 years that Trey is gone)

Uhhh, Cameron Payne is basically the same size as Trey Burke but with a 1.75'' longer wingspan.

I think Oubre goes here and WCS goes to the Pacers at #11.

Jazz will then have their pick of Turner and Kaminsky.

We already have Payton, Oladipo, and Gordon so lets draft another non-shooter who doesn't fill a positional need.

Especially when Hezonja and Porzingis are available, makes a ton of sense.
