Bogut is the best center in the NBA. Pure C, cheap, does everything, went to Utah, taking his team to the NBA finals.

nowhere near the best center. However .. overrated ?? Ask his coach how valuable he is. How well did the W's do without his anchoring the paint last year ? If Bogut isn't healthy they can't win the finals.

A better question would be - if there's any Centers in the league that you'd swap for Gobert strait up? For me? Not even close (since I consider Anthony Davis a PF and not a C.)

Davis is young and will be good for years to come. But Gobert has me hooked with his attitude and fire. Not sure if Davis has that but I know Gobert does.

But you are right, Gobert has the attitude and fire that makes EVERYONE around him better. Look at the way Favors has come around and is blocking shots. Hayward plays with intensity; Exum is playing tough defense. Why? Because they know if they don't, Rudy is going to get on them. Really not sure if Gobert or Snyder is the best thing that's happened to this franchise in the past two years. I just know those two are the KEYS to our success going forward.

I think that's overstating his value. If Curry isn't healthy, the W's probably can't win. Bogut? Sure he's a nice piece, but he can be replaced and the W's still win. Not as easily, but they still win.

Marc Gasol is the best pure C in the NBA and it's not close. If AD is playing C, then he is as well. Probably Dwight Howard also.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

For the record, I would trade Gobert for AD straight up. I would think hard about trading him for Gasol but would probably do it. And I would not trade Gobert for Howard. There is the reality of it.

I think that's overstating his value. If Curry isn't healthy, the W's probably can't win. Bogut? Sure he's a nice piece, but he can be replaced and the W's still win. Not as easily, but they still win.

I remember watching sportscenter and they showed the team defensive #'s with and without Bogut. It's like a 5-6 point swing. He is very valuable not sure GS has the interior defensive fire power to deal with LBJ and Cle's bigs without Bogut. In my eyes he's one of the better defensive bigs in the league and he has a lot to do with GS HAVING THE #1 defense in the league last year.

Favors was basically guarding 2 positions playing next to Kanter. He deserves more credit than he gets. Favors was always a very good defender but he couldn't afford to gamble because it would have led to an easy drop off pass for a layup due to others regularly blowing their assignments. Does Gobert make Favors better? Yes, but equally so Favors makes Gobert better.
