With the draft coming up and new players about to come, the off-season is the perfect time for the Jazz to establish some guidelines for uniform numbers. The Jazz have retired the following numbers:

1: Frank Layden
4: Adrian Dantely
7: Pistol Pete Maravich
9: Larry H. Miller
12: John Stockton
14: Jeff Hornacek
32: Karl Malone
35: Darryl Griffeth
53: Mark Eaton
1223: Jerry Sloan
3051: Hot Rod Hundley

That's a lot of numbers, but whatever. Not really telling the Jazz they shouldn't retire all those numbers (just that maybe 4, 7, 12, and 32 should be the only ones retired).

I want to go the other way for this. I think the Jazz should take two numbers out of circulation. Those numbers are:

0

and

00


They should know why.

What if we trade for Damian Lillard and he wants number 0?

This is one of the biggest waste of time threads that I have ever seen on Jazz Fanz. I have been reading the board since way before the big reset in 2010 and this is pretty dumb.
