Minnesota Timberwolves (Ellis269) draft looked like this:

#1 - Karl Anthony-Towns

#31 - Cliff Alexander

#36 - Mouhammadou Jaiteh

What grade do you give them for this draft?
 
Made the easy first pick, and I think Jaiteh and Alexander are both good value in the early 2nd. Take off just a tiny bit for filling his front-court so full, pretty sure I've heard Jaiteh isn't interested in being stashed.

Overall: A-
 
Any time u get the top player. That's a good draft. Only reason I didn't give A+ is I felt u passed on better players. And all bigs.
 
Seem like OK value picks, I'm not the biggest fan of Alexander... I would have added s wing for that team in the second, you are overpopulating the front court with young bigs - Payne, Dieng, KAT, Jaiteh, Alexander, Bennett... Kind of hard to give it a bad grade with KAT at no. 1... B+
 
Alexander ended up being a replacement pick when George Lucas de Paula withdrew from the draft, had I known he would opt out I'd have gone with a different wing or PG there.


With that said, Towns is the top pick. If he lives up to his potential it's an A+ draft. Plenty of them bust and plenty of GMs reach for too much upside. I played it safe, but it was the right choice.

He got two other guys at the same position as bigs. It would be surprising if the wolves kept them as they have plenty of bigs already. It's almost as if those picks were wasted.
