It's not a trade. Sloans dealt with plenty of trades, Jeff malone, Horny, Thurl Baily, Korver. He's stepping down, or got fired, but I don't think he got fired.
I hope something is being done. The team has been downright terrible for way too long, and it's only because
they aren't putting out the effort.
I am amazed that it has gone on this long and nothing is being said by the local media. There has to be a reason
for all of this crappy play.
Everyong knows it. I could hear it in the crowd tonight. The fans are extremely frustrated. They want to like this team,
but they can't like a team that is this pathetic.
I welcome change in the coaching department. I would be intrigued to see Johnson finish the year with Hornacek the primary assistant to show him the ropes, but if Hornacek became the next head coach, Corbin would have to be the next assistant or he'd be gone.
I would also like the Jazz to explore bringing someone in that has a history or some sort of acumen for doing his homework on other players and all manner of advanced metrics to help the team actually strategize. It seems to me the only time the Jazz play chess on the court is when they see a big matchup to exploit in the pick and roll.
