Who knows.

I remember people here wailing about Hayward and he turned out to be a very good pick.

It's funny seeing everybody so disappointed over a player they know virtually nothing about :D

For all of you putting stock in the Boozer comparison, they just compared Deion Wright to John Stockton.

That alone should tell you everything about the credibility these morons have when it comes to evaluating players.

Lol, the #6 recruit in the class of 2014 who played on a stacked Kentucky team with 4 lottery players, and put up 9 and 5 in 23 minutes a game.

Yeah, terrible pick, I mean you see what KAT put up? 10 and 7 in the same minutes and he went #1. Not to mention Lyles was playing the wrong position too.

If he will adjust nba, he has a long way to go. Guy is smart and talented, but not enough strength for nba level. I wish for the best, be ready for the worst

Still somewhat of a mystery because the ex-Kentucky forward had to contort his game to fit the role UK needed him to play last season. The Wildcats had a glut of frontcourt talent, so Lyles became a 6-foot-10 small forward in a two-post offense. While he isn't a liability defending the perimeter, his more natural position in the NBA is probably power forward. The skilled, versatile rookie should add to the strength of an already formidable Utah frontcourt. Marc J. Spears' grade: A+.

It's really as simple as this: We don't need a power forward. We need a true center with a shooting touch to back up Rudy and a 3/4 with length and speed to back up Hayward. And yes, in this situation, where it appears the Jazz are trying to actually make some kind of run this coming season, you draft for need.

He's only 19, same age as Dante, who also needs to add strength -- how many guys do you know at 19 are fully mature?

A huge project. Most rookies are, but Lyles is maybe the biggest reach in the lottery...we're assuming he'll have "no problem" adjusting to the NBA three because his form is good. There's a HUGE difference shooting 14% in college to being a stretch-4 who can shoot 38% from NBA distance.
