Derrick Favors offensive production and efficiency

If I asked you - do you think Favors or first-team all-NBA center Marc Gasol has better production (pace adjusted), what would you answer? Now Gasol is amazing playmaker and passer for the Grizzlies but pretty much by any other statistic Favors had a better season than Gasol. Since we played at the slowest pace in the league, here are the numbers for them per 100 possessions:

28/14 per 100 possession at 23 years of age. That's a stud in the making. I absolutely expect him to make all-star teams. Other players he had better year than - all-stars Al Horford (25.5/12) and Paul Millsap(26/12).

I have no idea why the FO would be willing to move Favors even if we got Millsap. It makes absolutely no sense to me. You don't sacrifice your future for the now(since Millsap will be declining for the length of his contract), especially when in the now we wouldn't be able to contend whether or not we get Millsap since we'd still have to wait on Exum to develop for another year or two.

Bump because ^^^

I want Favors to be the bonafide 2nd option next season. He should have been it last season but apparently was not quite ready. Go to move.

Give me a trade proposal and I will discuss it with ya

I'll trade you NAOS for Cy

NAOS is on 30 year contract since he's like 40 or something.

Cy is on 25 year contract. He's only about 23, but he lives life in the fast lane and is expected to die early.

Is Hack's intention to post so that nobody wants to actually come to Jazzfanz? You a shill for the RealGM Jazz board?

Don't think you can discount the ast% ratio, Stitches. Could look up usage rate, too. Some of the advanced stats matter, too.

Yah, his playmaking is as good as anybody from the bigs in the league, and that's why he is generally better and more valuable player than Favors, but my point was that Favors actually had an all-star worthy season... if he had it for a more successful and watched team in the league, he would have at least been in the conversation for both all-star teams and for all-NBA teams.
