Are The Jazz A Free Agency Winner?

A beast who is dependent on great lob passes to have any impact offensively. He is going to miss CP3 a lot.
Read a quote from Cuban yesterday but can't find it now, but he basically stated that Jordan can be the next Shaq and expects him to be a 20/20 player. Lol. Good luck on that Mr Cuban.
Part of it was the fact that they decimated their bench by sending 3 solid rotation pieces to Boston.
Also, wasn't Parsons injured for a large part of the second half of the season?

I don't want to go any further. This post is so bad.

In the Locks you include Dallas but the NBA champion GS Warriors are omitted? To make things worse, they are not included on either list.

Here is my list:

Locks
1.SA
2. GSW
3.OKC
4.Houston
5.Memphis

Fighting for 6-8 seeds:
Dallas
Clippers
Suns
Pelicans
Jazz

I believe if you compared the starting 5 of the Jazz to the Pelicans and Suns you'll see that the Jazz have a better starting 5.

If you look at depth you'll see that the Jazz potentially have the most depth from any of those 5 teams.

Yes, the Jazz are a big winner from this FA period.

Whoops I did omit the Warriors they would be 2nd, pushing everyone down a notch. That leaves Jazz, Pelicans, Clippers, Blazers, and Suns battling out for 2 playoff positions.
You are aware the Pelicans have Anthony Davis? He will be the 2nd best player in the league next year after Lebron and can carry a team to 50 wins without too much help. If Jrue can stay healthy, I would give them the edge over the Jazz.

That would leave one playoff position then. Currently I do think the Jazz have a good shot at #8, but if the Clippers can trade for Hibbert without giving up any valuable pieces even #8 will be a long shot.
Leaving me to my original thought from a few days ago, finishing 9th in the west, 14th pick, a wasted season outside of player development.

I think he missed only 5-6 games or so.

Jazz are losers in free agency IMO. The Jazz advantage of having cap space this year is wasted as everyone will have cap space to sign max players in the next couple years. Cap space doesn't get you into the playoffs or help you compete for a championship, Players do. Jazz needed to add a good three point shooter on this team to open the post for Favors and Gobert. You either need good offensive post players to open up the three point shot or you need good three point shooters to open up the post. Since Gobert and Favors are dominate defensive players we need the shooters to open up the inside for them to help their offensive game. I expect Hood to be good from three point range but I'm hoping that Hayward, Burkes, and Exum can all improve their 3pt shooting %

Memphis still have some moves left in them and they are smart by not signing Gasol until those moves are done in order to keep flexible with the cap. Surprised they let Koufas walk.
Spurs need a couple back-up bigs, especially with TD only playing 2/3 of regular season games.

I'm pretty sure it was more then that. He was on my fantasy squad and seemed like I didn't have him a ton late in the year and barely made it back for the playoffs

NBA.com has him down for 66 games.

If the Clip figure out how to play small ball they will be in a good spot. I like the Paul Pierce signing.
