You do realize that Tibor averaged roughly 5ppg and 4rpb in 15 minutes last year in a league nowhere near as good as the NBA right????? Its not like the guy has dominate at any point of his career. We need to have realistic expectations.

Show me a rookie deal for a 2nd round draft pick for a non euro star that is more expensive or even on par with this deal.

Best league outside the NBA. It's a favorable deal to the Jazz. Probably has team options or something too

I don't disagree at all, i'm just saying he wasnt even a starter and did not put up good numbers. Based on that i'm a bit surprised he got 10 million over 3. Thats top 10 pick in the 1st round of the draft kind of money. The Jazz absolutely can afford it and could easily be a great deal if he pans out.

Tiago Splitter who was taken 28th in 2007 (Tibor Pleiss was taken 31st in 2010), signed a 3-year $11 mil deal with the Spurs at age 25 (same as Pleiss).

Pleiss put up great stats when he was the man on a team.

Tiago was a FIRST ROUND PICK! He also was a really good european player unlike Tibor. Bad comparison.
