I think you should do the Peja/Havlicek switch in the meantime.. he had said he didn't want Peja at the SG ...![]()
He said he would start Draymond Green in this matchup though..

Neither of these teams deserve to win.
Hekate doesn't because his talent just isn't that great, and he put Peja as a shooting guard.
Log doesn't because he put Okur as his starting center. Holy cow. LMFAO. That is horrible.
But also because he didn't choose his team because he thinks they are good, but because he's trying to manipulate us. He claims he thinks that players from the 60's were so great, but didn't pick anyone close to there except for Gilmore. Also, he is trying to manipulate us with the stretch big idea and jazz man. Except it doesn't pass. Okur at the center position would make your defense horrendous. I would have accepted Rudy there over Okur.
A quote from log in my thread...
Okur starting in an all time tournament is terrible. Blah.
I think Log wins, but that's gonna be it. I'm not really seeing the cohesive nature of his team-- Zeke and Lebron make sense, but a 4/5 combo of Memo and Art don't. Artis is a superb post-defender, but I'm not sure how good his lateral-mobility will be if you're going up against point-guards who will screen you into oblivion. It took three top 10 all-time defenders in Pippen, Jordan, and Rodman to beat the Jazz in 6 games-- note their frame sizes. Those are the sorts of players you need to stymie all-time great PGs.
#1 - So? And you just proved my point. You argued about why you were voting against me and not my team. Care to explain why starting Okur was such bad idea considering the need to pull a premier defender away from the rim? See that was the danger. First, I picked a team a modern fan, unknowing when it comes to true basketball and completely blinded by recency bias, such as yourself, could vote for. Then I give a very sound reason for my tactics in this particular matchup. What do you do? You argue against ME instead of against my TEAM, proving my point, and proving that you really don't get it in terms of basketball.
#2 - Point #1 was enough actually.
Problem is, if you don't believe in what you are saying, why should anyone else?
You should have voted for Hekate, but you voted for yourself.
I believe in my team. Just because I built the team for votes doesn't mean I also didn't build a team that works well together, maximizes the positives and minimizes the negatives.
And you still have only argued your straw man, not said anything about the team.
I think a lot of people here are underrating a prime Shawn Kemp with Lebron to deliver him the ball. Apparently even LogGrad98 who has him third string. . .
I did make a point about your team. I don't like Okur starting for you, let alone even on the team.. You'd be a lot better off starting Gobert. Or putting Kemp or Love in there. Okur does not belong in there.
Other than that, I like the big 3 Isaiah, Carter, Lebron, that would be a a fun team to watch. Isaiah adds what Lebron lacks, and that's the refuse to lose mentality.
I voted for Hekate, but probably should have voted for you.
I don't know who's a worse coach though, you or him. He first has Peja starting at the 2, then Draymond Green. SMH. I guess you are by a slight edge. Only because you know what position Okur plays. He just shouldn't be playing.
Okur sucks, sorry. Rim protection> stretchy big guys every day of the week.
Dirk might have something to say about that last part.
Ya, best stretch 4 ever has only won ring and only won it when he got rim protection. Go figure.
Lebron + 4 scrubs almost pulled an upset in the NBA Finals against Golden State (what some people claim as one the best teams ever).I bet both teams qualify because of vote closeness. But neither team is that good.
