Trade Hanlan for Tyler Haws?

No trade needed. Both will be waived.
Besides, Haws is a poor man's Jimmer. Not quite he shooter and neither plays defense.
 
Is it even possible to earn more minutes in summer league if you are in his position without an injury? The NBA acted so uninterested in him that they didn't even give him a combine invite, he goes undrafted, it was obvious he was going to only pick up 10 minutes or so a game regardless of what SL team he jumped on. And he hand picked the best possible spot - Cleveland SL team is weak at his spot. And plays about as well as possible in the minutes given, but there is no immediate reward. All the scouts there are like playing on their phones when he is in, or taking bathroom breaks.

I can't recall many guys that play well in their 10 min SL slot, and then all sudden get 30 the next game over guys that had been starting or anything.

I saw Cory Violette light it up for a Hawks Summer League team in the old Rocky Mountain Revue getting something like 20 points and 10 boards in a game and was rewarded the next night with a DNP/CD. He was an undrafted free agent about Cooley's size and his shooting range. It happens.
 
So if this trade is made, what do we do with Haws? There won't be a roster spot for him on the Jazz...ever.
