Offers I'd consider:
-Blake Griffin or Eric Gordon/Chris Kaman/Minnesota's unprotected 2012 pick
-Dwight Howard extended
-Collison/Granger/Hibbert
-Kevin Love, the rights to Ricky Rubio, and picks
-Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook and picks
-Brook Lopez and picks
-Nothing the Knicks have to offer, **** them
None of those are remotely happening. 2012 will likely be kind to owners, stay the course unless the end is inevitable.
And for what it's worth, the speculation of Deron Williams leaving has been 100% national media hype outside of him saying that he signed the 3-year PO extension to keep the team from resting on their laurels. In fact, everyone but two players on the Redeem Team (funny name in retrospect) is either washed up (Redd, Kidd), was (Chandler), is getting there quick (Prince), has switched teams amid controversy (Lebron, Bosh, Boozer), publicly lobbied to be traded (Carmelo, CP3, Kobe, Kidd), or angled his free agency to bring in others and won (Wade). It sounds like restlessness is coming out of the Howard camp, but that might just be more national media BS. And then there's Deron.
I believe he wants to win, but I truly think he's cut from a different cloth than those dudes. Again, if the Jazz continue to get worse and the writing's on the wall, do something, but if they're not going to get anything close to equal value, they might as well see how far this goes.
