Honestly, what I think it really comes down to is:

Stockton, Maravich, Walton vs. Billups, Wade, Olajuwon.

Stockton >>> Billups
Maravich < Wade
Walton << Olajuwon

Spy wins 2 out of those 3 matchups, hence why he is winning.

Stockton >>> Billups is laughable.

Starting Artest and Maravich is a killer. No way those guys should be starting on final four all-time teams.

spycam easily.

I was tempted to not take this bait, but it's so ****ing pathetic I'm going to.

Stockton is the all-time leader in assists and steals and you are saying it's a relatively close matchup between him and Billups? Artest is a Defensive Player of the Year and Maravich is a top-50 player of all time. While I know Spy's team is better, I got to the final four for a reason, son.

You are a joke bro, since you think you know so much, why don't you reserve a spot in the current draft?

I don't know much about players before 2000.

Well that explains why you don't appreciate Stockton or Maravich for that matter.

Perfect you only know 2000's and beyond, perfect for the current draft.

Man, you really told me.

Sure. Whatever. I'll give the next draft a whirl.

ICYMI:

John Stockton - 5× NBA All-Defensive Second Team (1989, 1991–1992, 1995, 1997)

Ron Artest - NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2004), 2× All-Defensive First Team (2004, 2006), 2× All-Defensive Second Team (2003, 2009)

Julius Erving - ABA All-Defensive First Team (1976)

Bill Walton - 2× NBA All-Defensive First Team (1977–1978)

John Stockton would guard Chauncey Billups. (Stock would have him on lock)

Ron Artest would guard Larry Bird. (DPOTY would slow him down, atleast a little)

Julius Erving would guard Dwyane Wade. (length would bother him)

Bill Walton and Pete Maravich would regularly double-team Hakeem Olajuwon. (double-team would stop him or make him give up the ball)

We're going to make Dennis Rodman beat us on the offensive end.

My team will have enough spacing on the offensive end, whoever Rodman guards will be out on the perimeter limiting his rebounding.

John Stockton's career best from three is 44.9% on 227 attempts, Ron Artest's is 40% on 383 attempts, and Pete Maravich's is 66.7% on 15 attempts (small sample size, but can you imagine?).

John Stockton - Pete Maravich - Julius Erving running the break would be something truly beautiful to watch.

Lastly, my bench is superior to Spy's. Two scoring machines in Elgin Baylor and Amar'e Stoudemire off the bench and two MVP's of the league in Reed and Unseld also waiting on the bench, w/ Cousy tying it all together being the distributor of the second unit.

Between Rodman (best rebounder ever), Bird (best rebounding SF ever), and Hakeem (pulled down 14 RPG in his prime), my team is gonna be tough to beat purely on the grounds that they'd have noticeably more possessions than any team in this tournament.

And unlike big men like Kevin Love and others, all three of these guys can really defend with Rodman and Hakeem being elite.

A sane and motivated Ron Artest is severely underrated. If that guy is saying that Stockton isn't >>> Billups then Artest isn't much lower than whoever he is matching up against.

I feel like you meant underrated... and he'd be being compared to some guy named Bird in this comparison.

Finally someone who realizes.. Oh well thank you though, 16-8 it's a little too late.

Umm... you know Billups is being comapred to some guy named Stockton right? You totally didn't understand.

I got it man, I'm saying Bird is better than Stockton (considerably) and I also believe Billups is slightly better than Artest(really depends on what you need, but everything equal I'd go Billups). Hence the gap between Bird/Artest is much larger than the Stockton/Billups gap.

Considerably? No, he's better, it's like a top-10 player vs. a top-20 player. I don't know about the Artest/Billups comparison, you can make cases for both sides.

I actually would argue that the gap between Stockton and Billups is bigger or at the very least the same as the gap between Bird and Artest.

Hakeem and Bird are too good to overcome. WC teams has a really good starting 5 but those are the best two players and ultimately that is too much for WC' team.

I think WC has better players at the other three positions but when you have the two best players and the other team isn't dominantly better at the other positions you will probably lose.

Wait... Are you saying that Maravich is better than Wade?
