5 Teams With The Best Young Nucleus In The NBA

The only piece I'd argue is that the Lakers shouldn't be there yet. Randle was gone pretty much all of last season while Russell hasn't played in a single game yet.

And I would put Minnesota higher, maybe even higher than Utah with the addition of Towns.

Yeah, this thing is sneaking up on many casual fans. My brother goes on and on about what terrible moves the Jazz have made in recent years. His proof is that so many other teams are starting our former players. He's certain we would have been much better if we'd held on to those guys. He cannot comprehend the change in philosophy from signing journeymen to drafting and developing talent, and he absolutely refused to believe that we were purposely tanking or that teams would benefit in any way if they did. It will be interesting to see how he reacts as they rise to the top. My guess is that he will simply jump aboard the bandwagon and won't even remember or understand that he ranted against virtually every move they made in order to reach this point.

They don't belong on the list, and they wouldn't be if that same situation was taking place in a small market. NO has messed some things up, but they still deserve to be ranked higher on this type of a list than LA.

1. Utah
2. Minnesota
3. Milwaukee
4. Orlando
5. Philly (but only because they needed 5 teams)

I'd take Philly off and put New Orleans #1 because the brow is that good. He took NO to the playoffs last year. I'd trade any three players of Gobert, Favors, Hayward, Burks, And Hood for the Brow.

I am glad that most of the up and coming teams are not the same old title contenders. Utah, Minny, Nawlins, Milwuakee, Orlando... will all add a fresh spin to the playoffs.

Maybe we will get lucky and it'll be Utah/Minny and Orlando/Milwuakee fighting for the right to face each other for the title.

Good point. He doesn't have much help around him. . . but he is that good. Nice call.

Yep.
Whenever I go to a party, people will talk jazz with me cause they know im a huge fan.
They are always down about the jazz and say that we will just develop our players and then give them away to be good others for other teams. And they always bitch about us losing kanter for "nothing"
I try to explain that the jazz re-signed Hayward, Burks, and favors and that rudy will not be going anywhere any time soon and that the jazz have very good young players under contract for multiple more years.

They never understand and just assume that all our good players will leave and do well elsewhere.

Dumbasses

I'd have to take off Gobert off this list......Exum at 6'6"defending PG's and 7'1" Gobert at Center is going to have Utah in serious contention year after year purely on their defensive talent ,just wait til their offensive talent matures.
