Always saying the right thing, nude photos flying around the internet. Yea, he's got a bright future in politics.
 
My attitude is great too, and my percentages in the silver fox league are way better than Trey's.

Where do I sign up?

OK... but then we have 3 PGs... none of which can shoot Exum/Burke/Neto... and if you're going to pass to a shooter, everyone on the team has better FG% than Trey... save Dante and Elijah... and they all have more height...
Guess I'm saying that with Trey's weakness being - not able to shoot off the dribble, that's murder for a PG... Locke/others may say focus on what you're good at... but as a team, I'm passing to the higher %, taller, 'other players', vs trying to get it back out to Trey, for a catch and shoot.
 
Basketball is a pretty unforgiving sport in this respect. You can play as hard as you possibly can, but if the shots don't drop, you're effed. Especially if you're just 6'.

Locke came out with a state about Bruke's % on spot up shootign beign 55% or something like that. His %s are so low becuase most of his shots are off the dribble or in trafffic and his %s there are abysmal.

I'll see if I can find it...

Now I agree that Burke has the deck stacked against him. But if he is that good of a spot up shooter then there is hope for him as a successful back up PG on a team that has multiple ball handlers that can get him the ball at the right time. Thankfully Utah is just such a team.

Will be interesting to see.
 
One of the main reasons (aside from desperately needing a PG) I was hoping that we would acquire him was his attitude. He seemed to have a good work-ethic, strong leadership qualities, & ice water in his veins at the end of the game (all of which still appears to be true). The problem is that his physical limitations have prevented him from being as affective as he was in college, yet he has been unable (or unwilling) to adjust, not only his style of play, but his on-court approach/mentality. I still believe that Burke has the necessary skills & basketball I.Q. to overcome his physical deficiencies, but I don't see that occurring without a change in his mental approach to the way he plays the game. It could be pride or overconfidence in his abilities that has (to this point) prevented him from making the necessary adjustments, but if he's ever able to accept the fact that he can no longer succeed with the same mindset that helped him to succeed in college (which will be difficult, as it's natural instinct to revert to what worked in the past), he still has the potential to become a contributing backup (or possibly better) PG in the NBA.

If he's able to improve his decision making ability & look to deffer to his teammates (at least on occasion), rather than (seemingly) attempting to make every play on his own, he still has a future in this league & possibly on this roster. For the record, I'm not inferring that his struggles are due to his character (or lack there of). I view him as a team player, who (mistakenly) believes that it's in the best interest of the team for him to be "the man", which just so happens to be the role that he has had the majority of his success in & (not coincidentally) is most comfortable in. All in all, there is still reason for optimism, as his handling of his demotion from the starting lineup to the bench showed that he is willing to do whatever is best for the team. It's frustrating to watch him attempt to singlehandedly win every game, but if he's eventually able to make the necessary adjustments, those frustrations could end up being well worth it.

You can't ask a girl out until you have condoms that fit. Them Asian condoms have really got in the way of his love life.

What is funny about this is that most Germans are in decent shape. You see very few truly fat Germans. Actually the most fat Germans we have seen have been at Church. Dat fat mormon life doe.

Last year when I was traveling back and forth I knew I was back in the states because of all the fat people, and even more telling the fat people in spandex. Where the **** did that trend come from? There needs to be a licensing process for spandex for hell's sake. But really, I could not believe the difference. Summer here is great, lots of eye candy. Summer in the states you really notice the firm tight asses because they are so rare. ****ing fat americans.

That place is known for serving huge portions. My favorite there was the Klöße and Rotkohl. Man I love German food.
