What's new

ESPN Standings Forecast

If we get 40 wins, the season will be a bit disappointing, but not necessarily a waste. 45 wins is pretty much the expectation. 50 wins would pretty much shock everyone. If the Jazz surprise like last year, 50 wins is not out of the question at all. It will take some more major leaps in progression from a player or two, but it it totally doable.

To me 40 wins and missing the playoffs is absolutely a wasted chance/season.

I think with Exum out, we need to temper our expectations. How will Burke and his inefficient chucking fit with our starters? How solid will Cotton/Neto be in the backup role? My goal, with Exum now out, is 42 wins. I'd be content with that, even if we missed the playoffs.

Memphis and Dallis are old. OKC will likely have more injuries. Houston's all offense, nothing else will finally be game planned.... Utah gonna take the world by storm this year. This is probably the first time I've ever thought they were actually underrated. Let's hope for health.

Best post in this thread. The Jazz are about to roll.

Look at all of the wins they had last year against top teams. I think that this is the year they begin to dominate the lesser teams and play the top teams tough consistently. I don't see this team losing games that they shouldn't. I see them winning games that they shouldn't.

The Rudy factor will be huge.

I feel like Utah will get the 8th seed, but with like, 45-50 wins.

Having the Mavs at 8th with 41 wins is just an amateur estimation. Whens the last time the 8th seed had 41 wins or less?
