I have a 97 Ford pickup that I picked up years ago. It's paid off and it's worth way more to me as a camping/hauling vehicle than I could get out of it. We went camping out by strawberry an I kinda ****ered up my muffler(it basically broke it the **** off). Thing is my inner douchebag was like "Hell yeah! Your truck sounds dope as **** now. Don't ever put that mother ****er back on." I'm considering getting a $30 glasspack and calling it good. Should I do it?

I say keep it off. It's not like you consciously did it. It just came off and now you like it.

I bought a ford years ago that had the cats cut out and the exhaust was all jacked. It was loud and obnoxious, but I thought it was cool at the time. After a few weeks, I realized just how worthless it was. Wakes up the neighbors, wakes up the family, you can't go to the bank drive up, a food drive up, you look/sound like an ******* at drive-ins, and you will regret it.

Trust me.

Just installed it. It's not loud, hopefully it doesn't get too much louder as time goes on. Glasspack, 2 exhaust clamps, and an exhaust hanger = $42. not bad

We're not talking about cutting cats out or ripping mufflers off. Good sounding exhaust sneaks in n out just fine if you're not pushing 600 hp...
