I've only ever hated on Hayward for the trade kicker he built into a contract with Charlotte.

Right, cuz OKC dropped a max contract on a player that they intend to bring off the bench.

Even if he isn't, I can name all 30 starting centers in the NBA, and Tomic will be a better passer than at least 10-15 of them-- let alone just one.

which has always been bizarre, seeing as he isn't the one who 'builds' the contract-- Charlotte is quite obviously going to make the contract as minimally palatable for Utah as possible, to prevent them from matching. Hayward obviously can't tell them not to, or else they're not gonna offer him max money.

You realize in that sentence I'm refering to Joe Ingles, not every single Euro player? You are just twisting words around. I was clearly stating Ingles vs. Hayward, with Hayward being the established NBA starter.
