there's a difference between an education opinion and a dumb opinion. Both don't have equal merit.


Some ppl are of the opinion that coffee enemas cure cancer. This is a dumb opinion with zero merit.

Your opinion was a dumb opinion with zero merit, because you don't follow the Euroleague, can't name 5 european coaches, and can't name which teams they've coached. An educated, well-respected European body governing the Euroleague came up with a definitive list of top Euroleague contributors-- they named ten coaches, including an American, none of which included Blatt. Their opinion has merit. Yours doesn't.

Irony: David Blatt is the guy who gave Ingles a shot in the NBA by coaching him to his best season. Dal hates Blatt but loves Ingles.

I could name 100 Euroleauge coaches, I got this thing called internet.

Since when did majority vote mean anything? Don't we all think Rudy was a better DPOY candidate than DeAndre Jordan? Who got more votes? DeAndre Jordan.
 
And maybe some salty Euros dont want to vote an American as one of the best Euroleague coaches. They allowed one token American on the list, but couldn't have 2.
 
There is also the Anti-Semetic connotations. Probably didn't want to vote an American Jew as one of the best coaches. Salty EUros.
 
Dvid Blatt coaches a huge underdog to a Euroleauge title and gets no respect from Dalamon because he is an American Jew, disgusting.

Hayward does the same thing. Ingles' intelligence is the main reason he's in the NBA, the way he controls the tempo when he has the ball, without great quickness or athleticism, finding open guys, calming the other guys down. He has nowhere near the athleticism of Hayward. It's reminiscent of Hornacek or Bird -- not to say he's anywhere near their level. But they used their intelligence to outplay players who were more athletic.
