Yes. 'We're' getting ahead of ourselves with these threads.. Thing is, are they not inevitable? Whats the harm in some early speculating?(that I could be way-off, and make a fool of myself!?!)
I'm trying to predict the #1 picks in these drafts ahead of time.. Why are people are getting butt-hurt over conversations I'm basically having by myself?
what madness is this?? Just leave the damn threads alone..
I don't feel the need to express my displeasure whenever I see something I don't like, that's part of being an adult(for those unaware)... I choose to keep it moving more times than not.
Many here don't operate that way, Is it because they've got nothing better to post??
Here's yet another thread attempting to call me out for an argument. Which is fine, lets argue, air your grievances - get it out of your system. Just don't rely on lies like Cy, and I won't have to ignore you.
I'm not a bad guy, never have been. I've walked 100 old ladies across the street, raised tons of $$$ for good causes, I was a troop leader in boyscouts and I still volunteer at homeless shelters, If you usually like to hassle people like that, so be it. It's not like y'all would ever say that sorta stuff to my face, so it holds very little weight anyways. No guilty conscious here - other than I wish I was nicer to my dad before he passed.
The players being discussed are mostly team USA junior national team members, Call me crazy - I think that's fairly prestigious! Team USA basketball(and UK basketball

) is the **** as far as I'm concerned..
I introduce these players because of their outstanding merits on the court. Will those merits stand the test of time?? We shall see..
The 2019 thread is almost 15 months old. As I said at the time, the thread would never have been made If not for a prospect the quality of Marvin Bagley III who's totally abnormal in many regards - I saw a youtube suggestion that said "best since Lebron James" and couldn't help but check it out..
Nowadays some of the services have him rated 101 out of 100.. People are well aware of Bagley,
nationally.Pretty sure his offer from UConn was made well over a year ago.
When a player is the youngest in the history of their state to receive a scholarship offer, that's noteworthy to me, It's not a big deal, I'm nosy though, I want too see why!(because hopefully that info can help me decide on something that looks similar down the line. Sorry if you feel otherwise.
In the 2017 thread, on the first page you will see a post from me, that says Harry Giles will go #1 in 2017(then people calling out the competition he's playing again), that comment will be like 3 and a half years old by the time the the 2017 draft happens - I still like his chances at going #1.. (that's where DX has him in their 2017 mock..)
2020 thread exists only because of Chol Marial, and the media deluge that took place once his 'mixtape' dropped.(ESPN, S.I. Articles, Youtube highlights with 100's of thousands of views in just weeks) I really shouldn't have to explain why a 7'3" 15 year old is note-worthy, he's legitimately a giant.. He moves in a way that's extremely rare for that size, considering his age into that equation is almost mind-blowing - and that's coming from someone who does a bit of studying on the 7' footers that show up each year.
Maybe I'll be dead wrong - We shall see. (that's why the posts are made, not really for discussion now - I'll entertain discussion though, that's why I'm on a forum..)
I'm just here firing shots in the dark, to see how they appear when the time is ready(so I can adjust and make better predictions next time). Sorry to disappoint, No one's gonna guilt me for trying to get more experience. that's just how I operate..
P.S.
Of course we don't know what Trey Lyles will do because of summercamp. I think I have a pretty good idea, but that's got little to do with summercamp and much more to do with the last few years that I've been following his story.. (ya dig?)
