What's new

Jazz @ Suns Fri. Oct. 9th at 8pm MDT

Hood seems pretty effective coming off the bench. He can take his time and create with the ball in his hands.

I think Burke/Burks/Hayward/Favors/Gobert are the starting five.

I'm not a big fan of Trevor Booker, either offensively or defensively. Or rebounding the ball... There just isn't much there.

Probably our backcourt needs revamped.
I've been lukewarm on Booker since early last season. He has his moments for sure. I love his tenacity too. Unfortunately his high energy is as much a negative as it is a positive.

Last nights game does nothing to change what I already felt about the Jazz, it's just preseason and may other circumstances that have been said or don't feel like typing out.

Booker is one of those players impossible not to love but frustrates me at the same time so often, if he's going well then give him minutes but if he's not going that night then can't be afraid to give those minutes to other players. That same all out hustle and intensity that we love can get him in trouble some games and his offense (like any player) comes and goes just more then a lot of players which is why he isn't a starter, his passing is still his biggest weakness IMO. I wish I could articulate my thoughts and feelings better on this subject but oh well that is my general idea/feelings on that subject.

Snyder pushed this team really hard last training camp into preseason and the beginning of last season. They were really worn out the first few games but then it seemed to pay off. I wonder if he is doing the same thing this year, I hope the team as a whole is better conditioned coming into training camp.

I think Lyles steps ahead of Booker in the rotation just as soon as he meets a couple fairly attainable goals in practice.

Hey, anyone notice how cheap our PGs are? The Suns are really paying Knight and Bledsoe. The Jazz must have the cheapest PG rotation in the league. Check Philly though...

I don't know about practice but The Jazz have a pretty laid back pre-season schedule - no back-to-backs and a 5 day break.

Back in the days of ol' Jer The Jazz always seemed to have a tough October
