I feel bad for the man, media ruined him. He's a stellar dude and a pretty good baller.

Awfully hard not to like Lamar Odom. Despite the demons that plagued him, he was well liked and admired by most who knew him. Followed his career closely, as he played college ball here in RI. Very sad news. Don't know if he'll survive, but brain damage is all but certain if he does survive. So many tragedies in his life. Too fragile a personality for the crowd he hung out with. He really could not keep up with the Kardashians.

Pretty much everyone in the NBA who crossed paths with Lamar Odom holds him in high esteem. A whole league prays for LO tonight

Those TMZ links provided above are so depressing. It's sad that people are attracted to such trash. People who watch that sort of stuff are unconsciously poisoning their own minds. I'm sure glad those TMZ lowlifes don't have any interest in what's going on in my life or the lives of those I love.

It was a drug overdose, and his brain is damaged. Some are reporting "brain dead", but apparently not yet. No surprise here, really. So many people wanted to find some way to help this guy, but when you won't help yourself, and keep going back to drugs, this is where it ends.

Hey Joe, I agree. Hate tinsel culture, celebrity culture. Real high standards. Not! Odom walked willingly into the world covered by TMZ, and nobody could talk any sense into him.
