CBS reports tonight that Deron Williams has informed associates he looks to join Amar'e in NY

I think Deron is having dreams of forming a big three in NY with Amare and Carmelo. Stern better help the small market teams in the new CBA or this league is dead. Might as well contract to 8 teams.

Until I hear it from DW or from the Jazz front office I will keep my shirt tucked in and not jump on every little tweet or unsubstantiated rumor.

Yeah because there hasn't been any players who have left their teams as free agents for bigger markets recently....
 
Jazzfanzs complaining about no loyalty from DW and then showing none by taking the word of some tweet'n "journalist".
 
This place is on a witch hunt. No credible sources named. Anybody who has dealt with written media also know that quotes can often be completely out of context, or even fabricated. I don't think its always with malice, but take it with a grain of salt eh?

I actually agree. Come on, people, stop jumping on disreputable rumor-mongering like this when there are so many more reasons from reputable sources to throw D-Will under the bus.

First off its a blog. Second nobody posted there name as to who wrote this article? So the guy who could possibly making up this story can't be questioned?

Williams just came through the resignation of Jerry Sloan, with reports indicating Williams was involved in a locker room confrontation the night before Sloan announced he was leaving the Jazz after over two decades. Williams vehemently denied any such conflict with Sloan, but the repercussions caused by the Hall of Fame coach's departure are still being felt.

^ This is where this guy loses all credibility. Williams never denied that there was a conflict at halftime. This guy is a liar. Deron openly admitted there was a conflict at halftime. Everyone in the organization admitted that there was a conflict. And everyone in the organization said it didn't even make the top ten conflicts Jerry has had with players or even Deron. They said Jerry had confrontations all the time.

Article is bogus when you catch one of this lies in the article and when they won't even post there own name.
 
This is ridiculous. The nba is turning into high school rumor zone and everyone is acting accordingly.
 
Garbage thread and garbage speculation. F the idiot who tweeted this garbage. Let's focus on the here and now. Until I see or hear Deron EXPLICITLY saying certain things, be about wanting to leave or wanting Sloan gone, or whatever, I will give the guy the benefit of the doubt. D-Will is still the man. He's in a slump offensively, but Utah fans at the game better tread carefully in light of all the negative attention he's been getting as of late, because booing him after all this drama will not help the situation at all.
