How do YOU cope?

Given the start of the season and the obvious playoff potential of this team, how do you cope with the loss of Dante and not let it make you want to cry when you see how much he could help us with Neto's inconsistency. Trey Burke has been very good thus far, but the lack of PG depth particularly on defense is kind've an issue. Dante's length and assumed improvement on both ends (even if minor) would be so nice to have right now. The Jazz aren't even close to hitting their stride which is a reason for optimism, but I can't help but constantly rip my hair out wishing Dante were on the court because it would make the Jazz much better.

I like Neto. I think the worst thing possible for Jazz fans was the fact he had like 5 steals in his preseason debut and set the bar insanely high. He will be serviceable. I doubt Coach Snyder keeps him as the starter for the duration of the season. I know Dante will be back, but I'm a fan and only want instant gratification and have hard time keeping the "big picture" in perspective.

The big picture is that we are playing for the chance to get beat soundly in the playoffs. Next year is the year we make noise. That was true before Exum went down.

I actually think they miss Exum more than Burks though. Burks is pretty good but they had serviceable replacements for him. Exum they really don't have anybody to replace his best skill-defense against PG's.

Only watch weekend games. Cable had to go now that I'm on a smaller budget so I drop by my brothers house or stop by my folks to "visit". Even then I'm lucky to watch a game a week. Otherwise it's box score for me.
