Betting Thread

I haven't seen that. I read reviews where withdrawals didn't get deposited, and the company demanded bank statements to prove that before they resent the wire. I haven't read any where the money just disappeared. Have a link?

There are those horror story reviews for every betting site.

I use to use a site called "sportsbook" they had a ton of bad reviews, but they sent me a check for 2.5K when I requested it.

If I was making over 10K monthly, I would probably be scared of a company mysteriously cutting me off though.

Looooooove Oklahoma State O36 points today. TCU's defense is young and VERY vulnerable.
I also love them +5 and the ML almost as much. I feel good TCU loses today.
I also like buying a point for Cincy +10.
And Michigan -24.

Damn, good call on that TCU/OK thing.

Gambling establishments have guaranteed income as long as they have action. The very fastest way to drive away action is to treat customers poorly and have any sort of reputation for not paying out. Most casinos or any other gambling enterprise make it a point to pay out fast and without hassle. If there's any hassle at all it's because they want people to see that someone is getting paid out. Why risk guaranteed profits so you can swindle a little extra?

All that said, Bovada takes U.S. customers for online poker? Woot!

I can't even remember the name of the place but I made an account on an online gambling site so that I could bet on the Kentucky Derby. While I was waiting for the races to start I hit the online craps. Went up really fast and made a few hundred bucks. Decided I'd rather have that money and not mess around and lose it all so I cashed out. Few days later I get a delivery from DHL, a manilla envelope with a check inside.

There's no point to that story. Just wanted to share.

I won $45 on Wolves tonight. I have $20 on Pelicans beating Mavs (+245), and $60 on Jazz -2 (-110). Hoping for another strong night. I can't wait for my balance to get larger so I can feel more comfortable making larger bets. I'm pretty good at this.

****, did you bet $45 on the win for the Wolves or the spread? How much did you get off that?

Bad call on the Pelicans though, those guys blow.
