Official UofU homer thread

Andy Phillips is an *** clown. Since he missed a FG last year @ ASU in OT, he's been a "meh" FG kicker that can't send a kickoff into the end zone to save his life.

Not pretty. And refs may have bailed them out, but I'll take it.

Ever since USC this team has looked how I've felt. Just enthusiastic about the team as a whole. They need to get their **** together, three winnable games and they are playing for a chance to get into the playoff.

There was one bad offensive PI call, but UW had chances after that. Utah's D made some pivotal plays.

I will not miss Travis Wilson. Nice kid, but he can't get outta town fast enough for my liking. And Bronco, yes I am bitter as hell with "Automatic" Andy. Watching him try to send a kickoff into the end zone is like watching Travis Wilson trying to throw a forward pass.

Thank god for every other aspect of this team, lifting is above and beyond horrid QB and Kicker play.

Yeah, I don't know why Phillips' kickoffs are a good 10-15 yards shorter this season. Makes it tough when your opponent gets extra yards to start a drive.

And Wilson... *big sigh* He has moments of pure brilliance wedged in between chunks of frustrating mismanagement.

Special teams used to be special too, but they've seemingly disappeared as of late.

Booker and the defense carry the Utes.

Also, Chase Hansen goes down injured on the last play. Ugh.

Phillips was intentionally kicking short, at least tonight. Seemed to work pretty well.

Travis is a terrible QB but a great second RB.
