Game #9 Utah Jazz at Orlando Magic 11-13-15 5PM

Neto looking good against terrible competition. It seems like a no-brainer to switch Burke and Neto, have Burke start and Neto against second units.

I would not change a single thing with Burke. If he has found his role in the NBA let him excel in it. Trade a minor asset for a PG on an expiring deal.

Seems like everyone on the team really struggled...I didnt get a chance to watch or follow much of the game but dang...I was almsot certain this would be a win.

I really dont get how Pleiss was ahead of Withey in the rotation.

Pleiss will earn $2,7 mil this season and Withey signed a partially-guaranteed contract. Pleiss had the chance to show up before Withey.

Probably if Whitey had played against the Heat, the Jazz would have won that game.

Pleiss didn't look so bad in Eurobasket, but it's obvious he doesn't have the strength to match up in the NBA. You might recall that AK was a superstar in Eurobasket, but in the NBA he also didn't have the strength to match up well against guys with wide bodies, which was why he tried to bulk up at the expense of his speed.

Like another poster said, Withey must've have been injured because there's no reason why he should've had all those DNPs based on what we've seen.

This is a very simple way of looking at things. First Burke had a really strong preseason as the starter. Next if something isn't working then change should happen. It's an insult to Trey to assume he can only be effective off the bench.

It's not assuming he can ONLY be effective. It's putting him in the best situation where he can be MOST effective. Coming off the bench allows him to play the game his way basically, at a higher usage rate.

Again this is assuming he's most effective off the bench. I'd argue it's not. The spacing is poor when he plays with Booker, Lyles, Millsap, and to an extent Burks when he's not shooting the 3's. IMO Burke would be better in the starting lineup as he will have more options. He has moved the ball very well thus far, but it's not reflected in his apg because guys are missing or worse not even taking the shots. When Burke drives the lanes are clogged and the only thing available is his on shot or a pass to the corner. Those easy drop off passes to the bigs aren't really there.
