What's new

Trade THE **** out of Al Jefferson.

If we don't have a Jazz system anymore, I'd just as soon design one to use Al more effectively. Guys with his post skills don't grow on trees.

How about someone convinces the Warriors that Jefferson is their answer at center, we let them keep their first-rounder, and they give us Stephen Curry. Maybe I'm just a little rambunctious here.

It doesn't. That's the point. Most teams that don't run intensive motion offenses can use guys like Al. So can we. Hopefully Corbin plans to do just that.

You can use him. And win about twenty games.

Utah was a high-powered halfcourt, low post and motion offense that needed a great post player to fully realize its value.

I was hoping he'd make a turn, but I really, really doubt that this will happen. And the system is wrecked, along with the franchise PG being gone.

Epic. Fail.

Also, just let me say, **** gREG mIller.

Yep. This.

Agreed with everything you've been writing.

Firesale and tank really? With the picks they just acquired? Jazz aren't going to get as bad as Cleveland and won't be getting a top 3 pick out of the lottery anytime soon. They might be able to parlay their lottery plus NJ's into a top 3 somewhere down the road, hopefully in a stronger draft class.

How many times did Earl Watson sub in and lead the Jazz back into contention? This team is not dead in the water. Let's see what KOC can do. Denver is on constant discussion with KOC, Rigby, or someone high up. Probably Portland too. Charlotte wants something and Houston is surely piqued.

Sloan is laughing right now. "New Jersey, bitch".

How this Deron trade didn't contain a salary dump for Memo and/or Jefferson astounds me.

New Jersey didn't have any cap room. They'd have to pull in a 3rd team and give them something of value like the Golden State pick.

Trading with a different team for a better player was probably the goal, but apparently this was the best offer available. Too bad Curry for D-Will didn't make any more sense to GS than playing who they already have.

I am against trading Jefferson. He was improving before the break and will continue to improve.

Yes. He's really going to feel comfortable now.

His PPG average should be higher than the Jazz win totals over the next couple seasons.

It's Jefferson's time. Like Groundhog Day.
