I hope he's one of the 2nd round picks. I'd take him over Elijah Millsap for damn sure.

Keep an eye on the English 7'1" Center at Cal, Kingsley Okoroh. I'm actually kinda convinced Utah and Cal are the teams to beat on the west coast. Okoroh can block shots, he was Martin's first signee(why is this word coming up on the spell-check!?) at Cal too.

I agree about Cal but some quality teams on West coast this year

Id go
Cal
Arizona
Zags/ Utah Zags got a nice front line and uUtah lost Delonte
Colorado is going be improved and has one of the best big men in country. Very underrated with quality footworjk and good size. Could be one of them Jazz 2nd round steals. Josh Scott.

If Josh Scott played decently in that opener vs Iowa St. they'd have won the game. They were 10 pt dogs too. If Askia Booker didn't declare for the draft, I'd like them much more. One of the fouls they called on Scott was so bogus though, totally clean block on Georges Niang, and they blew the whistle.

Scott is like a poorman's Jarrett Allen.. He appears every bit of 6'10" standing next to Niang, so I agree he's a potentially good 2nd rd prospect.

The Zags are overrated, no way their the best in the west. Pitt looked like they were about to pull off the upset, on that ice skating rink they were playing on in Japan. They should've had a bigger advantage with that court and Karnowski, Pretty sure Utah will kill them.

1/10 from the field for Trier in the opener. Ray Smith was a big loss for them.

Don't sleep on Oregon either, Dorsey and Brooks are NBA prospects, I'd have them in the top-25 preseason.

Kennedy Meeks with a very strong start to the season...

What happened to NC State?! A 85-68 loss to William & Mary ?? They started out losing 29-9?!?! How the hell did they get out-rebounded?!? I'm genuinely puzzled about that, only 6 boards for Abu in 30 minutes?!

Gottfried.

Gottfried.

I didn't watch the game. Looking at the boxscore and seeing Beejay Anya coming off the bench and playing 22 minutes is puzzling though, he wasn't in foul trouble.. doesn't make sense to me if their getting worked on the boards by William and Mary.

Why isn't Anya starting anyways??

Not a good start for Cat Barber either if he's hoping to get drafted in the 2nd round. Suprised to see Maverick Rowan got so many shots in his debut

****. This is a ****ing shame. He should've declared last year and hoped to go in the 2nd, someone would've signed him to a SL team and he would've been drafted to the d-league, probably pretty high, If he went undrafted in the real draft.

@ESPNAndyKatz Rhode Island announces that E.C. Matthews is done for the season with a right knee injury, suffered during first half Friday vs. American

Any thoughts on the Cheick Diallo situation, Now that games are live? I'm pretty sure his HS is the issue. Kansas obviously needs him for a deep run.

They're also looking into his relationship with his guardian, but that shouldn't be an issue because his mentor is also his legal guardian in Mali..

His draft stock won't deteriorate like Cliff Alexanders under any circumstance though.

Scott has that old school game about him. Hooks with either hands and good post moves. For not being very athletic he also blocks some shots. I agree Zags are overrated nearly every year and fflame out early but Sabonis, Wow I just like that kid

Wow..
The highlights from SKAL tonight will get some attention. He's 100% from the field (thus far) on a huge variety of shots.

16pts
5rbs
4blks

In 12 minutes.
