Following 2016 potential draftees

I'm not so much laughing at Ben as I am at LSU though. They seem to be missing a shot blocker which is a shame considering the quality of this class.

Not jumping to any conclusions about Ben, I don't have him far off where the consensus is, I'm gathering info, its a process that I track closely, if you choose to get defensive about my observations. so be it. He's not that physically imposing to me for a #1 pick so I'm not apt to give him the benefit of the doubt, when there's other players who've got the talent and tools to make a case.

I usually get defensive over my observations, because I'm looking for a debate, and would love to drum up more perspective if there's some to be had..

If you want to argue about what is and isn't nitpicking and what is indicative of future successes lets have at it.. If not your just complaining, to inflate the post count, not to contribute on topic. Carrying on like schoolyard children though, I don't care, whatever keeps ya entertained, that type of **** doesn't hold my attention.

My message in response to the personal attacks is simply 'If you knew better, you'd do better'. Just being motivational, I think I read that one in a John Wooden book.

Explain what you mean by that. He seems incredibly physically imposing for a guy who spends much of his time on the perimeter.

He thinks he is 6'9, not 6'10 so he can't be a first overall pick.

But there was that dude named Blake Griffin.

Just to be clear: Simmons' jump shot is obviously a concern. You can't have defenses back off you like that and expect to dominate every game. Having said that, spacing in the NBA is much better than in college, so that will help his driving game at the next level, even if his individual defender will be of higher quality in the NBA.

He can be a ****ing baller if he develops his outside shot.

Speaking of Griffin...

Simmons is the first college player to post a 20/20/5 game since Griffin.

Personal attack? Don't flatter yourself. I just find it ironic you make it such a point to focus on Simmons not shooting 3's, but when I brought up Burks lack of attempts you went on the defensive.

Exactly. I don't think anyone would complain if they drafted the next BG with the number one pick. Im pretty sure Simmons is bigger and farther along with his skills at this point in his career than BG was.

Yeah, and Simmons can play as a legit point forward.

Unless I'm forgetting someone, Simmons seems like the best point forward to come out of high school since LeBron.

Who else would even be in the conversation? You don't see many guys with that type of skill set that are that big.

If we miss out on all the high potential bigs, I really like Damian Jones.
