I realize this won't get any fan fare. Like zero. But how can you not enjoy the beauty of this? From start to finish in both the song and the video. It's a work of art for the ages. Ryan Lewis is the new symphony director.

Did you accidentally link to the wrong video?
This.
The video I began to watch was lame. After you see the first one second, you have seen the whole thing

Really not a fan, he's not the best in the genre. DJ Premiers excellence has spanned many generations of hip-hop dunno how someone relatively new would be able to snatch the crown from him.

J Dilla was definitely better than Ryan Lewis, he could do more with less. Listen to the albums Donuts or Champion Sound.

Or check out 'A Tribe Called Quest - Keep it moving' thats a Dilla beat

Motzart's video kicks this guys ***, too. I got kind of excited by your donut comment, though.

You, sir, have no class or refined taste. None of you do.

J Dilla isn't even comparable to Ryan Lewis. Dilla is a legend, visionary, and revolutionary in music. He is on Mozart's level of influence.

Ryan Lewis is just a good pop producer who makes really big, grand sounding production.

I find new levels of depth and complexity to this every time I listen to this (on repeat for an hour or so). I cannot believe people are comparing this to j Dilla. Why not compare Ice Cube's lyrics to Jay Z's? Okay, in actuality, Ice Cube is pretty sick lyrically if you look at it.

the song is like a fancy grilled cheese sandwich.

trying to appeal to roots (orchestral, piano...) while making full, unabashed use of current digital studio practices. Served with some hipster tomato soup and asking you to dip, dip, dip.

a bit too Anthemy for my tastes. I'm betting franklin has young kids. That's the best way to make yourself somebody who isn't grated by that kind of thing.
