What's new

The Jazz are trading D-Will to New Jersey!?

Do you have any clue about g tech, their system, personnel, and such for the one year he was there? i didn't think so. If you did, you'd be singing a vastly different tune.

I don't give a darn about their system. I do know Favors' talents didn't help them to get ranked and when he switched Nets, he has continue to be sub-par. I am not denying that he has talent. But the guy has not proven anything. Cousins, whom Nets should have drafted instead, actually proved something in NCAA, and is doing so in NBA. Favors does not, and I don't know that he will. It's a huge question mark right now whether he will be anything more than a bench player, not to mention a star.

Borat are you sure you are not NColoradoJazz?

For all those haters of the trade out there, think about this; Jazz got rid of an attitude problem for the 3rd pick in the 2010 draft (Favors), more cash, a deeper bench, and draft picks for the future! I say great deal!!!The Jazz more got more chips to do trades with now, with Favors, Millsap and Jefferson at power forward. Put anyone of them with one of the draft picks and you should be able to get a good shooting guard, which the Jazz definitley need. Keep the Nets pick for the coming draft and get a defensive center. Bring Ante Tomic over next season and you have the draft pick center, Tomic and Fes (if we resign him) to man the center position. You have 2 of the 3 of Jefferson, Millsap, and Favors at power forward. I would keep the size and trade Millsap. We complain constantly about not having the size to match up against the La
So does Utah's long term future contain??
PG - Fredette???
SG - Other lottery 1st rounder
SF - Hayward
PF - Favors
C - Tomic

Anyone who projects Fredette playing for the Jazz is a foolish BYU homer.

Favors didn't impress me in college either (stat-wise), but neither did Brandon Jennings' stats while he played in Italy. Favors reminds me of Shareef Abdur-Rahim - if he ends up playing like him, I would be ecstatic. I think Favors will play well for us - I'm more curious to see how Devin will work out - he's quite different from D-Will...

Awesome tweet from Greg Miller:

Just bought a Coke and a donut at the gas station. Guys behind the counter stoked about Favors an Harris coming to the Jazz.

Sweet. If trading an all-star point guard for a lesser pg and a questionable rookie plus a few ambiguous draft picks passes the muster of the brilliant minds at the local Maverick, sign me the hell up!
