Can the Jazz stop the Golden State Warriors winning streak?

This game scares me. We have had really bad guard defense. I was at the home opener against Portland and we got squashed by Lillard and Mccollum. Curry and Thompson are both waaaay better than those guys, plus they have a much deeper and better overall roster.

I am hoping the Jazz have a game similar to the Cleveland game last year...but I'm expecting a blow out and for Curry to put up at least 35 points

Sure I guess we could, everyone will have to playing amazing. I think there's a higher chance that we are down by 30 by half time and I wouldn't even be mad at that, because the warriors are playing that good.

We just beat CP3

We can beat them if the defense has a career night and we get another like effort from Hayward from the clipper game. And Gobert and Favors need to be beasts.

Also, is Curry the best player in the league? Has he passed or will pass LBJ for best in the world. Could he pass MJ as greatest of all time. If this GS team stays together, and the way they are playing they could get on a similar career path as the 90's Bulls. Is that crazy to think?

True. I'm not sure I consider CP3 that dynamic though. He's definitely showing his age this year. But, guys like Westbrook, Lillard, Wall, those guys scare me. I'm not sure that I put Curry in that group either, but, he's so damn good it doesn't matter what group you put him in.

Still can't understand why teams don't beat the living crap out of Steph Curry every single game they face him. You put him off his game and they lose. Manhandle him and you might cause them to lose a couple of games. Neto should sacrifice his body for the team and absolutely pull a "Dellavedova" on the Warriors by roughing Curry up. Somebody has to be willing to shake Curry up if they're going to be knocked off their groove.

Not sure they're way better. Offensively, McCollum has been better than Thompson this year, and Lillard while not Curry is certainly now a top-5 PG.

Saw the third quarter of their game with SAC tonight. Cousins was out. Wow, the Warriors were getting away with all kinds of fouls. What's wrong with the NBA refereeing, playing the favorites like this?

We have about as much chance of winning as the Alamo did.

Let's go down shooting.
The Jazz can't match them in a shootout. They need to grind it down to a halt, play good defense and play as rough as possible with the Warriors backcourt. They might not win, but it would be a moral victory to have the Warriors go home bruised and beaten up.

I just meant shooting metaphorically in comparing it to the Alamo.

They are going to feast from 3

most teams feast from 3 on us and we are facing the best 3 point shooter in history. Burke and Neto ain't stopping him.

we dont match up well at all.

agreed We need someone to do to their team what Bogut does to other teams. I think it's underrated a couple of the bigs throwing their weight around and making the other team know you're there. They may beat us by 20 points but make them damned well earn it.

Facing Golden State is how it must feel to face the White Walkers in game of thrones. I'm not even on the team and I'm kind of scared for Monday night.

Gotcha. And realistically, the Jazz have nothing to lose by taking chances. They should go all out to compete with them.

And honestly I want to see the guys go out and play hard to try to be the ones to break the streak. I don't think they will, and that's fine, but I would like to see this young team hungry to prove themselves. It'll be fun.

Or a bloodbath.

A Stanis Borathian type bloodbath ...

QS should warn Neto that if he goes under one screen against Curry he's watching the rest of the game from the bench.
